March 7th 2003 UPS delivered my package to a differnt apt. in my building. About a week later I contacted the seller and they let me know that it was delivered to someone in my building. I tried to get the package from her and she now says she never got it that it was sitting outside her door.

I contacted UPS right away, they assured me this was their fault and I would be paid back the money for my product. They said to wait 8 days for the claim to go through, I talked to a lady from UPS and she told me she would call me back to let me know what was going on with the claim. It is now May 5th I still haven't heard a word from her or anyone from UPS.

The UPS man came to my house and assured me that it was their mistake and they were liable for it. He even admitted the UPS man that was doing his route that day should never have left it with someone else and not get a signature.

I have called several times they keep telling me they don't have any information yet to call back or contact the seller.

Then next I heard I have to contact the seller to file a claim and call ups. (I paid the seller in full for the purchace so why do I have to have them fill out a claim?)

Then next time I called the man from UPS told me that the claim came in and it would be longer until they have had a chace to look over the claim and then the money would be sent to the shipper, which makes no sense at all since I have already paid them. I am the one out the money and also out the product that I purchaced.

I then again contacted the shipper once again. They told me that they would let me know as soon as they hear something from UPS, well still nothing!! Then they also told me that UPS would probably only pay me $100.00 when I paid $106.50. Why should I be out money for thier screw up!

They are low down and I am sick of getting the run around or the lack of it, I have been wasting so much of my time trying to get this taken care of.

It has now been almost 2 months I have been waiting for a refund or even so much as a call from them. They can't do either.

Beware!!!!!!!!

My Friends and Family will never use UPS again. We have lost all faith in them if this is the way they do business!!

Obviously you are angry with the wrong people. First of all, let me state that we are all humans and we all make mistakes (If you have never made a mistake, you can disregard my response). UPS automatically insures (free of charge) each package for $100 for the shipper, not the receiver. If the package is worth more, it must be declared and insured for the additional amount (The post office offers no free insurance and charges more on most occasions). You can only get so much for free... The reason the shipper has to file the claim is because they are the ones familiar with the contents and how the package was processed. Think of it this way, if the item you purchased was not as advertised, would you still expect UPS to pay, or would you go back to the seller with whom you dealt with in the first place? Your comments are unreasonable and frankly you sound like nothing more than a spoiled consumer who wants everyone to bow to your demands regardless of the validity. Stop your crying and grow up!!! P.S. If you don't do business with UPS again, good luck buying most anything on-line or that requires shipping because frankly UPS is and has been the most admired company in our field for over 20 years and our customers value our service and the value they receive every day. Our customers also understand that mistakes are occasionally made, but they are not so spoiled that they can't work with us to get it fixed. Good day!
