First of all, the company United Road Services is made up of a whole bunch of little companies. If you are a driver out of Taylor, Michigan terminal. In order to get a load they broker the load from United Road Logistics, they make 10% right off the bat. Then if you go towards other terminals they charge a broker fee to United Road Logistics which charges you terminal. By the time you get 25%of what the load pays, the driver is losing about 30%. They will not show records of actually what the company charges. They make it up as they go. They are stealing money from the drivers all the time.
The Federal D.O.T. has come in and done inspections on logs and fined the company.
This company is not where a good car hauler would work at. If you damage cars, have a felony record, and no other car hauling company will hire you. Go to United Road Services. They have no standards at all. Look at their training program. PERFECT EXAMPLE.

Not all drivers with Felonies are bad people everyone needs a second chance no matter how strict the policys are.Ive been driving for 15years and have never stolen anything i want to just provide for my family and i dont hide my name eric stephens.

Its too bad you have had such a bad experience but not every aspect of urs is like this. I've worked for urs 2x and have been treated well and with respect. My supervisors are my friends and have treated me as a valued employee. I know what percentage I make and as far as I can see its consistant. There are terminals and sections that ive worked with that are reputable. To make a general blanket statement like this when even you say its made up of many small businesses isn't fair to the people and areas you haven't worked. Just because you don't make as much as you would like doesn't mean they just make up percentages to take as they go. If its not enough for you work some at some other company. And when it comes to their hiring policy here at my terminal they are fairly strict with who they hire and driving records. Like I said you shouldn't make blanket statements about areas your not familiar with.
