Complaint Review: US Mortgage Funding Inc. - Boca Raton Florida

You need to contact your lender TODAY and talk to their loss mitigation department and work out a forebearance agreement to avoid foreclosure or sale dates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If your lender is Bank of America there is NO reason for you to pay ANYONE for modification. In addition, I live in Boca Raton Florida and I know for a fact that US mortgage is a huge scam, and has no attornies working for them, as well as the fact that in Florida it is illegal for mortgage brokers to be involved with loan modification. I work for a Real Estate law firm down the street from US mortgage and I do loan mod's and I'm telling you that you don't need to pay someone with Bank of America for mod's b/c as of august they made it easy for people to self modify. Just make sure that your income at 31% (before taxes) is below your total mortgage payment (principal, interest, tax, insurance), and that your monthly expenses including mortgage at 55% is below your income a month. Those are the 2 big things in qualifying for a modification so do it on your OWN!!

Well, for now I am going to say that I am retracting what I have said about this company. The Management Team from Us Mortgage Funding has called me today and said that he is going to refund a little bit of my money that was promised to me months ago from an error that had occurred and that he will personally follow through with my modification. It did take me a long time to get the results I needed but hopefully they will do as they have promised. I am going to put my trust in them one more time and hopefully they will do the right thing. I will say that the modification, if it does go through final, I will be paying over $1,000.00 less than what my original mortgage was so in that repsect, I am very pleased. The problem is, its not final yet so it makes me worried and I just got frustrated due to not being told the truth a few times and now that I have spoken with them, I believe they will do the right thing. If they do not, I will be back and will update this report but in the meantime, I am sorry that I had to go this far to get what I needed but I did and apparently I cannot remove my report but I am retracting it for now and saying that this company is now trying their best to make me happy and more importantly satisfied with what I paid for. I'll be back to update weather it is good or bad. I have faith it will be good though after taking the steps I took to get the results I needed. To US Mortgage Funding, I apologize I had to go this far, but as a homeowner who is scared to death of losing our american dream and talking with many folks who have done these things and they all turned out badly, I was in alot of fear and still am but hopefully we can work together on this and get it done and finalized once and for all.

Consumers: US Mortgage Funding has gone above and beyond to try making things right after a few errors that were made by a few employees that are no longer with their companyand to offer us what we paid for. Unfortunately it took longer than I felt it should have taken and there were a few glitches, but they have taken the time out to contact me and assured me that it would be taken care of so at this point, I need to believe it will because I really want to stay in my home.

Stay Tuned for my final update when this thing is over and done with. I also have to mention that as for the length of time it has taken, The Lender was also at fault because they are so far behind in these things that they cannot keep up either and they have dropped the ball a few times as well so when I am done with the modification and my payment stays as is or even lower as I was told it could be even lower, and all is said and done, I'll come back with my update and to express my satisfaction.
