Whenever you apply for "credit" look around on the website...find the Terms and Conditions. Print them, log off your computer, and read them (this will help you understand the find print while giving you time to reconsider) Note that on their t&c: 13. MINIMUM MONTHLY PAYMENT/AUTOMATIC PAYMENT PLAN PAYMENT AMOUNT: .... By applying for the USA Credit Shopping Card, You request that We and authorize us to automatically deduct from Your bank account the minimum payment due each statement or billing cycle. When You receive Your USA Credit Shopping Card, You may call USA Credit Member Services to modify the amount that You wish to pay through this automatic payment plan by selecting either (a) the full balance due; or (b) a fixed amount each month. ... But there is light at the end of this tunnel...: 19. FRAUD RESOLUTION: As a matter of policy, We fully cooperate with all law enforcement agencies in the pursuit of fraud, with regard to the unauthorized use of information in applying for this membership. If You believe Your bank account was fraudulently charged for the membership fee, We will make every effort to aid in a resolution. Before We can take any action, please fax or mail a copy of the official report filed with Your local Police or law enforcement agency detailing the suspected fraudulent act and also a copy of the portion of Your Account statement showing the date and amount of the withdrawal. Please allow us two (2) weeks for resolution after We receive the report and statement. And it would seem from what most people are saying...they are good to their word on this point. Anther note...on the website they never call it a credit card but rather a "credit line" (which is different) they also say (in an image banner) that the credit is good only for their merchandise. They also show a picture of their card which clearly shows neither a Master card nor a Visa logo. If you ever took them to court you would likely lose because they clearly say on the sign up page. And they make easily available the Terms and conditions which also clearly state that this is NOT a credit card. (or to quote): "NOTICE TO CARD MEMBER: (A) DO NOT USE THIS CHARGE ACCOUNT BEFORE YOU READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. (B) THIS IS NOT A VISA NOR A MASTERCARD." If they did charge you and you didn't apply, consider filing for ID theft. Good chance someone else may have your info and is using it. They will reverse the charges. Peace Out
