I was contacted by USA Credit through my e-mail with claims of giving me a credit card, platinum no less, worth $7,500!

I was estatic and stupid, I gave them the info they wanted, my checking account number and also my phone number. They hassled the hell out of my boyfriend while I was at work. He didn't know what was going on, I hoped to surprise him, with my own credit card, all on my own merit.

What I got was a shock, it wasn't a credit card,as promised, it was a catalog card! I looked them up and realized, not only was I lied to, I couldn't afford this stuff even with their so called credit card!!!

I then went to google and to my shock saw other people complaining that they were being ripped off by this very same company, I got scared, I didn't know what to do. Then I read your reports on ripoff artists and decided I had to do something if I wanted to have a checking account left.

First, I went and got my account balance from an ATM, I was embarrassed, sure enough it was getting depleted but not by me. Then I called them to opt out of their deal and try to retrieve my money, at first I got hung up on, I thought maybe I dialed wrong, so I tried again and again and was told there was no such number or that it was d isconnected.

I slept on it, because it was too late to go to my bank anyhow, the following day I went and got the mail and to my surprise there was another package from the same people, identical except this time in my nickname, I really got scared, were the going to rip me off twice? So I swallowed my pride and went straight to my bank. They closed out my account and got me a new one, I file a report and they are going to try to get my money back, but they didn't seem too optimistic. Anyhow I learned an expensive lesson because now I also have to buy new checks too!! Oh yeah they, USA Credit, withdrew from my account twice, $149.95 the first time and $19.95 the second time and I wasn't giving them a third time!!!! I hope that I can get this back as I need it to pay my bills with.
