Last September I purchased 2 sets of SD cards for my android and they messed up the order. I wanted to get the item to my daughter for her birthday but my emails were ignored. Finally, the general manager, Eric Mays, said he'd personally take care of it. I did finally get the cards but it was belated. That was only the beginning of the frustration. Download items on the card uses precious time and that was being sucked dry with the fact that the music and other media would just disappear overnight. The items were junk.
I was waiting on my daughter to see if her cards were also worthless and eventually they did as well. I am assuming that by this time, the company knows not to say that you only get 30 days to refund because that would ruin part of their scam. The merchandise doesn't completely fall apart until after that amount of time.
I contacted Eric Mays and, surprisingly, he was willing to have me return the items for a full refund, even though it had been several months since the purchase. I had no reason to doubt him as he had corrected my order rather quickly once I had him handling my issue. Little did I know that he would use his other employee, Tonya Barstow to hide behind once I had actually gotten the items returned. I did have to contact the company, again, to remind them they had received my returns. I heard mixed messages as Tonya said the time was far past to get a refund and Eric saying he'd send one. The 'return' was through Paypal, but Tonya said they didn't use Paypal anymore, however, I got an email saying I'd received a payment through Paypal in the full amount I'd spent. "Good Cop, Bad Cop" comes to mind....
After seeing the refund email, I checked for the funds, however, nothing showed up in my bank or Paypal accounts. I emailed them after seeing that and they seemed very annoyed and expected me to believe it was sent, telling me to wait 2 - 4 days. I waited 2 weeks and there was nothing. When I emailed, I kept asking for Eric but would never hear from him again. Tonya sent me a messaged that said a few short words "Completed to Refunded".
I had sent them a snapshot of my account showing nothing and contacted my bank. They also sent verification that nothing was there. Neither of us got any response from the company. I wanted to file a dispute but the 120 days were up.
I found info elsewhere about this company -- that their general manager's "so-called" physical address is actually a shopping center somewhere and that their store address is a mailbox. If you look on yahoo answers under "Is usadiscountwarehouse a scam?", you will find a lot of information by a user named Andy L.
I would like very much to see these scammers put out of business and some new standards put in place that protect buyers better from these criminals. Avoid Usadiscountwarehouse at all costs and pass this info on if you use social media.
