USBI ripoff fraudulent telephone billing Internet
I was billed for 9 calls in 2 days to a long distance number in Pennsylvania. The total of that bill alone was $113.64 and we did not make those calls from our home. I do not have our local telephone company long distance and I use a 10 10 number for long distance. I have tried calling the long distance number they billed me for but have been unable to get thru. I have tried calling the USBI One Call Comm billing #888-478-8724 and have been unable to get thru. This is wrong.

I received another bill from SBC with $154.60 from USBI and $65.43 from OPTICOM. I contacted SBC and was transferred to a department in which, I was told, removes these kinds of charges all day long. I asked why, if they know about this fraudelant billing would they even add the charges onto my bill and they said that they are obligated to bill them, but there is no problem removing them. Thank God!!! I was also informed that the federal government has been notified, but they are not sure when or if anything has been done yet. A while back another report was filed here that the person brought up a class action lawsuit. I think that maybe it is time for a lawsuit. I am interested if anyone does go thru the process of doing this.
