I called (sellatimeshare.com) or as I found out after I rang buyatimeshare.com via an ad in our local newspaper.

It said there was no fee for selling, and as I had 6 weeks unused and couldn't afford to take them I thought to call them for information how to  sell them.

I was put on to an agent called Quincy Browne and he told me that I could get around $1300 per week for this resort in florida. Then he said that it would cost $880 dollars for the advertising fee, ha ha, the no selling fee was correct, but the advertising fee was steep to say the least.

I told him I would need to speak to my wife first and get back to him shortly. He assured me that it was a one time offer and pushed me into giving my credit card details.

My wife came back home 30 minutes later and  I called Quincy Browne to cancel my verbal agreement but he wasn't available so I told his secretary what I wanted to do.

When he finally got in contact he spoke to my wife, and he was quite rude to her, because she had stated that we didn't require their services and wanted a refund on our credit card. He said it was nothing to do with her and he would speak only to me.

When he finally got in touch with me he told me that even if I had phoned back within a minute it was too late and I had agreed to the advertising transaction.

I later learned that if I had sent it in writing, within 7 days I could have had a refund, which he never made me aware of, and when the paper agreement arrived it waswell over this allotted time.

I have since had many calls to this company without success. I did manage to speak to Wes Kogelman the owner, after I had sent him a letter stating all the facts.

He did in fact say that refunding the money wasn't a problem but he was still trying to  sell the company to me. I told him I wasn't interested and just wanted my money back as I couldn't afford the payment on my credit card.

I have tried several times to contact him, but he never seems to be available. I wish I had never heard of this company, as I have read several bad reports of people being ripped off by them

I am very surprised to hear that you had a hard time with Quincy Browne. I have two timeshares, one Harborside at Atlantis and a Marriott Grande Vista. I had been trying to sell them for a while but I wanted to be sure that I went with the right company, not one that would take my money and run. I put my inquiry onto their website and got a call 25 minutes later, which was great! I thought it was very professional that he followed up so quickly. After speaking with Quincy and him showing me the statistics of Buyatimeshare.com, I felt like it was the best choice to make. The whole time I was speaking with Quincy we laughed and joked like we had known each other for years. Not once was he ever aggressive or rude. He did tell me to focus on 3-9 months, which was tad discouraging, but I needed these sold. Two and a half months later they got an offer on my Harborside for $2, 000 less than what I was asking. I accepted the offer, since it was just about what we paid for it. Another 2 months later my Marriott was sold! After working with so many other companies it was great to find a company that actually does sell timeshares. It might have taken half a year but Quincy helped me sell my two timeshares and I could not be more happy with the service that him and his team provided. I would recommend Buyatimeshare.com and Quincy Browne to anyone who is serious about selling their timeshare. Thanks Quincy!!! :)

#1 employee, he stated that he never signed anything...  And technically, in the eyes of a judge, should this go to class action, or small claims, that it would be seen that this could be a fictional story, AS well as the fact, that you have no written document stated that he agreed to any terms...  I would do your research Surrey BC, as, technically, I think that you could and should take this to court....  you may beable to go for triple damages...

I have read your report with great interest, as BuyATimeshare.com practices a consistent cancellation policy and strives to work to the best of our ability to serve our customers and help them get the refunds they rightfully deserve.  It is unclear how you have been ripped off since we never claim we do not have a fee.  Everyone here has tried to help you each time you call. Even the owner of BuyATimeshare.com has contacted you directly to see how we can help.  We are however, an advertising company and charge for services rendered.  All terms and conditions, including the fair and consistent cancellation policy were conveyed at the time of transaction.  When you came to us claiming to have sold your property we did in fact agree to refund your advertising fee upon proof of sale.

Once you can simply prove that your property sold within 15% of the original asking price, as stated on the contract you signed, we can finally grant you a refund. Unfortunately you havent gotten back to us regarding this refund as we have tried to contact you on several occasions. And now you claim that we are not contacting you? Our system keeps track of every time a customer calls in for maximum customer support.  I understand that selling a timeshare property on your own can be very difficult.  It costs BuyATimeshare.com millions every year to make sure properties like yours are found at the top of internet search engines. In fact we challenge you to type in Buy Timeshare or Buy a Timeshare into yahoo or Google.  You will see with your own eyes.  Also, we have an excellent success rate do to the fact that e maximize our customers exposure, please click Timeshares Sold (http://www.buyatimeshare.com/TimesharesSold.asp)

With this being articulated our staff has answered each and every call and concern you have brought to our attention.  We have always been here to help; BuyATimeshare.com we want to continue working on your behalf if in fact your property hasnt sold and will continue to do so, with the very best marketing practices, ethics and technological advancements this industry has to offer.  If you have in fact sold your property within 15% of your original asking price please send us proof of sale and we will happily refund your money, if not, and you are not getting the desired results, let us get to work finding a solution, by working with us to reduce your price so we can liquidate this once and for all!  We look forward to your continued business and your complete satisfaction in our services!
