Value Village located at 4749 Jonesboro rd. in Forest Park referred me to a father & son delivery team, who delivered a mattress to my apartment and stole a camcorder when they left out of my home. When I brought this to Value Village attention, all I got was a run-around and a excuse of saying, I signed away my rights by signing a "waiver and release" form before the delivery was made. My point is if Value Village was having problems with these two Black males stealing people stuff, they should have warned me, and I would have found someone else.

There are many men standing around were I live who would have gladly helped me. But, I put my trust in Value Village delivery men and something was stolen. Value Village employee told me that these two black men have been delivering for them for the past ten years, how do they know if these guys are not "casing" people's homes and coming back later to rob them when no one is home?? There is a lot of apartments being robbed in this part of town. I believe an investigation should be conducted to see if there are other families who have been serviced by these delivery men and have had things missing from their homes or their homes being broken into at a later date.

I believe Value Village needs to take more responsibility for what kind of people they expose their clientele too. Out of all the businesses in this neighborhood, Value Village is the only one who has moved from one store location to another store location that is four times bigger, which means Value Village in Forest Park is making good money off the poor and middle-class people in this neighborhood. So, they can afford to at-least screen their deliverymen, instead of putting the people who support their store at risk or Value Village needs to get out of the delivery business all together.

Thank-you very much for your time
