Van Boxtel Auto Credit Gold - Tom Besaw - Corine Pier ripoff! Wouldnt let out of delivery, made us take the car, Lied to us, and added late charges. Green Bay Wisconsin
On Wensday, Feb 19th, 2005, My wife and I went to Van Boxtel Auto Credit to look at a new/used vehical for ourselves. We were walking around the lot when Tom Besaw(salesman) came outside and approached us.
We then went into his office and filled out paperwork to see if we would be able to get approved for a loan. he went to see the finance manager and said that our job history wasn't well enough to get approved for a loan, But if we filed our taxes with them we could get approved for a loan. So we left Van Boxtel and got our W-2.
Tom sent us to Leuthner Tax office. Moises Alcazar filed them for us. we were getting back $1,950.00. We went back to Van Boxtel and they were closed. Before we left to get our taxes done we did fill out a motor vehical purchase contract. But did not yet reach delivery.
After we got home that night my wife an I sat down and decided that we could not afford this car and decided to back out of it. we got up early on the morning of Thursday, Feb 10th, 2005 and arrived at Van Boxtel. I told Mr. Besaw that we DID NOT want the car and he respondid "Well, you have no choice now, either you pay for it and take it or leave it here and pay for it."
I thought we were stuck. Mr. Besaw then redid the contract to put Feb 10th instead of the 9th on it. So we then sighned the new contract.
After that we filled out papers for title and registration. Soon as we finished we headed over to Van Boxtel finance office to meet with Corine Pier. Before She started recording we told her also the we DID NOT want the car. She said the same thing that Mr.besaw said.
We never bought a car before from a lot like this, at least not on our own. I diddnt even know that a loan rate at 29.5% was bad.
Since then the car has had broken parts that were rigged to work. They had to been rigged by van boxtel cause they do a big inspection on all their cars.
We realy cant afford this car. We dont have much money and the payments are over $250.00 a month. The car is only worth maybe $1,200 and they want us to pay back $10,000 at the end of the loan.
We really Need the help. I have three kids I cant go through this right now. If your reading this and you think you can help pleas do what you need to do.
