On July 29, 2009 I shipped four items from a 1954 Dodge Coronet to be chromed.  This package was receided according to UPS on Aug. 4, 2009.  On September 7, 2009 I was told that these items had been shipped but then on September 23, 2009 Mr. Vance Henson of Vanguard Plating (ADA Chromed Evolutions), stated that he was in error about the 7th shipment but these parts were sent out that day (the 23rd).

"The Mail Shop" that he uses for shipments states that he has not sent me any packages during the month of September 2009.

Mr. Henson uses his answering machine to filter his calls and the only time I got an immediated response was when I had the Conroe, Texas Police Department to investigate him.

On September 30, 2009 I sent him a Certified Letter with Returned receipt requested and he receive this on October 2, 2009.  To date I have not heard from him, not received my parts or had my Visa Card credited for the amount he charged me.

Vance Henson is either a very poor business man, a good con man, a liar or all of the above.

I would suggest that you look somewhere else if you have any chrome work to be done!

Chromed Evolutions did receive the parts and called Mr. Medlin once then job was completed. At that time he gave us his credit card and the package was shipped.  There was an error on our part in shipping and it was shipped to another company. The employee that made the mistake, as well as quite a few others, has since been let go.  We explained the situation to Mr. Medlin and requested that he give us time to locate the package.  Unfortunately, Mr. Medlin has little patience and understanding and instead of allowing us time to correct the problem he called the local police and rejected his payment. 

Mr. Medlin was called early in October, and was apologized to repeatedly for the error and was told that we were shipping his parts that day.  Mr. Medlin, as he so conveniently left out of his slander report, refused his parts.  Also, he purposefully forgot to mention, that he has never had a problem with our work or product in the past.  As a matter of fact, he gave us wonderful feedback on his previous orders.  We don't believe that this was the sole basis for this complaint.  We believe, after a conversation with Mr. Medlin, that he needed the money back on his credit card due to money shortages, and used our admitted mistake as his excuse.

It is my suggestion to any small businesses out there who possibly deal with Mr. Medlin, to not make any mistakes, as we have come to learn that he is perfect.  It is apparent that no matter what we offered to appease Mr. Medlin, it was not going to be adequate to appease an already lonely, angry, miserable man.
