Vdo-specialties Took payment never sent item ripoff Chippewa Falls Wisconsin
Sent a P;ayStation 2 in for repairs in March of 2005. Board was fried. Decided to purchase a new XBOX and they withdrew $174.01 from my checking account for the new XBOX. Recieved it but never used it and since my daughter took my only other PS2 to college decided to contact them, VDO-Specialties, about trading the XBOX back in for a new PS2. They, I believe it was a guy called Michael, stated after they recieved the XBOX back and checked it out they would trade it in for a new PS2 plus $134.99.
After several weeks of no new PS2 they stated they never recieved it and I should report it missing to the Post Office. I had proof that they did recieve it as I had confirmation.In there defense the Post Office was slow! They withdrew the additional $134.99 immediately!
I waited and waited and after almost 6 weeks still no PS2! I e-mailed them and they said they expected shipment soon and I was down the list.I waited and waited for another almost 6 weeks and still no PS2. I then e-mailed them an some guy named Michael, who is very rude, basically stated since I'm yelling at him he is not sending me anything!? I then asked for my money back which is now a total of $309. Again all I got back were very lame excuses. I tried being nice,nasty to no avail!? Gave him a week to send me my money and again nothing!?
I have all his e-mails, which will show that I tried! So as of August 4th,2005 I have been out $309. They advertise on their web page quick shipping!?
