Several people have told me that if you go to your bank or credit card company to complain and simply say you "do not recognize the charges", the fraud dept. will refund your money. I'm not sure how they can do this, except that the online casinos use fake company names to process credit card U.S. gaming transactions to get around the law. Has anyone had any experience with this? I want my money back but do not want to get in trouble with the government!

Robert, We have had our disagreements in the past, but I have always found your rebuttals insightful and useful. In regards to this complaint, I was completely unaware of the new legislation. Thank you for alerting our fellow consumers to this. However, illegal as it may be to play at an online casino, research has shown that such outfits generally pay out according to their terms and conditions. There is little overhead with online casinos, and a high likelihood that consumers will lodge online complaints. In other words, it is in the casino's best interest to pay out per the TAC. The problem, however, usually lies in the terms and conditions. Consumers fail to research and understand the TAC and inevitably feel that they have been ripped off. That's not to say that the TAC don't set up a ripoff in the first place, just that the online gambler needs to perform rigorous research, and understand the TAC IMPECCABLY before depositing funds. Best regards!

You have little recourse to recoup your money.

First of all, the domain is registered off shore in Costa Rica. Second, last year Congress passed legislation making it ILLEGAL for US citizens to engage in online casino gaming - the exception is sites that ONLY allow poker playing and even then there are limitations. Third, reporting requirements established after 911 require all US financial institutions and businesses (lenders, credit card companies, etc) to report illegal and/or suspicious money transactions to the federal government. (This is what nailed our former governor and high priced hooker patron Eliot Spitzer.) What this means for YOU is that if they decide NOT to payout winnings or credit your account, you have little to NO legal recourse to recoup your money. If you complain to the FTC and the like you could face legal trouble for illegal gaming. If you complain to your credit card company (and admit the charge was for online casino gaming) your cc company is required by law to report your illegal money transactions to the Fed. It's good of you to post this and warn folks about this online casino. Just be aware that ANY online casino can stiff you and you'll have little or no legal recourse to get your money.
