Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Venus Hurst runs www.venusmodelsonline.com, www.venusstaffing.com, and www.dollfacebrand.com.  She has failed to pay my daughter in law the required agreed-upon amount of $600 for a contracted job in Las Vegas.  When asked for payment, she states that the "check was sent out", however, after several weeks, no payment was received.  I have heard from other models that several of them have not been paid, either.  We all wonder if the original client even knows she's keeping all monies paid to her for the contracting of the MODELS.  She sends threatening emails, texts, or she will ignore you or block you.  I've heard she'll even unfriend you on Facebook if you continue to ask her for payment.

According to the Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, her LLCs are not in good standing (as of 2/16/16).  She is shown as the Registered Agent with an address of**** **********, *******, ** *****, which is a residential home in Detroit, Michigan worth $32,105 which would explain why she is withholding every entertainer's money.

She's obviously getting paid from the vendors because the models work the events.  How she can live with herself eating off the plates of these girls' hard earned money is beyond belief.  You'd think she was living in a "mansion" the way she's making money hand over fist.

There is an article at http://www.cnbc.com/2014/06/24/5-ways-states-are-luring-small-businesses.html where she states she makes $500,000 a year.  I'm estimating that's HER take away, but I could be wrong.  Whatever the case, she is only to take a small percentage as a commission fee.  Now she's keeping it all.

Do a Google search of "Venus Hurst" or "venusmodelsonline" or "venusstaffing" and you'll find several complaint sites that attest to her theft.

Another thing to think about ladies is:  she has gotten W-9 forms from you and has your social security numbers.  1) she could use your name/SSN for identity theft purposes; or 2) may report monies she's paid to you to the IRS, in turn if you file your taxes and don't report the said income (because you never received it), you could be audited or worse, made to pay the penalties on any monies you don't report to the IRS.

Take Heed!  This woman is out to scam as many clients/models as she thinks she can get away with...and only she is to gain from it.
