Hello I am reporting about Verizon Wireless since the first time we bought the phones we have had problems. My fiancee went in one time to get both of us cell phones when he took his home his phone didnt even work AT ALL. So We took it back this was the first time we did this, they said oh sorry we gave you the wrong phone. It was like a "show phone" or a phone someone had returned, so they probably didnt get rid of that phone but gave it to some other "sucker".

Well they also told us the phone we had would be great for the area we were in, oh s**t they didnt even work at all I had to stand in one spot just to half a*s hear someone talk and they said they could hardly hear anything I was saying. I didnt find it to be a big big deal but when I tried using it in other towns -surrouding areas I found it to be the SAME problem, what a rip off. Nick got so ticked off he just went to sprint to buy another phone. Which theres worked much better.

Then after we told them we had moved they kept sending the bill to our old address, we kept going back we went back to verizon at least 5 times or more about just our address I have never went to a company so many times to complain. They also told us that we would be on a share plan or whatever,we never were and when we moved into the town we are at now we hardly used our cell phones but they kept sending bills making it look like we had. Like I said we kept going back to change our addresses but they never did anything. It really pisses me off that basically they knew what they were doing.

Well of course the phone bills went up which like I said should have also been a low rate since we were on a share plan..ok I would like to know what share plan that was. They put late charges on it over and over again-how crazy is that, then not to mention Verizon would hound us about getting the money, they couldnt wait. They called here one day like 5 different times, I dont appreciate that at all. And I also work thirds....

so when I told them to call around 3 they never did, which really pissed me off.My fiancee told them there service sucked, all they could do was be rude to him. I would NEVER use Verizon AGAIN they SUCK.

I think they owe something for all the crap they have put us thru -then to make matters worse besides the hounding us, they sent the bill to a debt collector and was going to take my fiancee to small claims court, I dont know what to do with this dumb a*s company anyone had the same problem???. write me for some answers please

Verizon will ruin your credit

My advise is not to let the bill go. Pay it and watch your credit record for a couple years. Verizon reports false information to credit bureaus. And they will not correct it once it's done, even when they admit it's a mistake. A write off is something that stays with you for 7 years and will keep you from getting credit in the future. Verizon doesn't care that they ruin people this way. Verizon is number ONE???? Yeah, they are. Number ONE RIP OFF in the country! For more info, see my post at the top of this thread ( May 20,2003)

there are people that you just can't please

I work for Verizon Wireless. They recently bought the company I was working for and I decided to run a search to see what others thought about them. All I have to say is most of what I am seeing is BAD experiences. With my past experience in customer service, I know that there are people that you just can't please. I know that since Verizon wireless has stepped in, things have gotten so much better. We have so many different training classes specificly for the jobs we do. We have motto's and core values that make the customer #1 always and they really pep us up to want to help every customer in the best way we can. I know that some have had bad experiences with phones not working, etc. however, my suggestion is this: Go to a true Verizon Wireless location, not an authorized agent. If you have problems with your phone, go back to the store that you got it from and maybe even try to see the person that sold you the phone. Many customers never read the brochures that we give them at the time of activating their phone. We try to go over every feature and procedure with the customer to insure that they have the ultimate sales experience with us and we encourage any questions and always make sure to give you a business card with a direct number to us on it. (if you don't get one ask for it!) If at any time you feel that we haven't fulfilled our obligations, all you have to do is call our customer service line. They are always eager to help and they will make sure that your problem is resolved. We have the largest nationwide network and are ranked number ONE. I suggest if you have had problems, visit our website and call customer service and let them know what happened and see if you can get things straight, after all, wouldn't you rather be with the company that is number one?
