Verizon Wireless is a rip off company with untrained staff and incompetent managers.

I have 2 cell phones for my daugter and myself. We have been continuously ripped off with roaming and long distance charges even though they offered them for free.

Letters, calls and complaints have gone unanswered. Every time I call I get a different moron on the phone who tells me the opposite of the jerk before.

I am now waiting for the expiration of the contracts to send them you know where. Their service is the worst.

The most terrible part is that my employer does all their business with this sick, money monger company.

As evident in the rebuttal that called the former customer, Moron, it's evident that many of the people within Verizon have a "dislike" for the customer. My own personal experice is similar. The company store associates were very friendly and helpful when I started with the service. Now, after three years, I'm treated as if I don't exist. Presently, I'm comparing other phone services and plan on dropping Verizon. My contract will still have about a year. My response to them will be, shove it. I have an excellent job and I pay cash for everything anyway. Their report to the credit agency doesn't matter. Good luck in dealing with a company that has gotten too big for it's customers.

Verizon Wireless is a fortune 500 company, and we are the most succesful cellular company in the world. And that is not exagerating.

It sounds like you just misunderstood the cellular terminology that you heard when you signed up for service. When you sign up for free long distance you get free long distance (if you are calling from your home area), if you sign up for free roaming you GET free roaming. Maybe YOU just don't understand your PLAN, or your BILL.

Don't blame others for your own stupidity!

Oh, and by the way, those so called "morons" and "jerks" in customers service are just laughing at you when you call. They put you on mute and tell their neighbors about the complete jerk they are talking to. I am sure they are just as anxious to see your contract end.

I'm in cellular sales myself. A lot of companies offer free roaming and free long distance, but you have to read the terms and conditions to get the full understanding of your plan.

Most people do not read there contract, they sign and go on,thats were people mess up.I watch people do this over and over every day

.Just because a company offers free roaming or free long distance does not mean that applies everywhere. For example free roaming and free long distance may only be on the Verizon network, if you roam on other networks thats not part of the plan. Please read your contract or check the plan brochure at the time of purchase.
