Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
on 1/9/04 my father whom is 72 years went into verizon and bought 5 phones and picked the shareplan 5500 minutes family plan. gave them a cashiers check for 904.00 that day for the phones and then was sent 5 different billing statements with 3 of them with a balance of 47.00 due and 2 for 299.00 each.

we called billing and they have the very worst unqualified stupid people in management i have never seen a business that big that is so unorganized unprofessional. after several hours of arguing with them they finally admitted that the account was put into subaccounts instead of compined shareplan and accidently billed twice and that the account would be credited the next week billing calls us and says we owe 1000.00 dollars and a balance of 640.00 past due.

this company is not only ridiculous but rude i tried to explain to the guy from billing the story and he hangs up on me... The next day all our phones are disconnected. The rep that sold my father the phones tells us he apologizes that it was their mistake and everthing is taken care of... needles to say I had put out thousands of dollars on a marketing campaign with the new phonenumber and verizon's f##%$ up cost me about 15,000 plus 4,000 for the campaign , i wouldn't be so upset at them for the disconnection of my phone if it was our screw up but it was theirs and it seems as though we have no rights anymore against companies like these we camplain to the bbb, etc and they just keep letting these rip-off companies rip people off because this world is all about money..

Well I wiil tell you something if my father has a heart attack over fighting with those piece of s**t employees who should be working at jack-n-the box i will bring them down... One more thing NOW I KNOW WHY PEOPLE GO POSTAL .... WE GET ABSOLUTELY NO HELP FROM THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF PROSECUTING, HELPING CONSUMERS LIKE MY FATHER.. WHAT HAS THIS WORLD COME TO...

IFanyone would like to start a class action law suit PLEASE Contact ME through the rebuttal key!!!!

I used verizon for about a year, everything was fine, then one day i get a bill for 400 something dollars. i call into customer service, spend about 20 min on hold, finally reach someone who is in the wrong department, so i wait on hold another 20 or so min finally getting some punk a*s child who should be in school rather than working for this company, and he tells me its a billing error, and that i have to be placed on hold again while he gets the supervisor.. so again im on hold, maybe 10 min and then this guy comes back on asking me if i let anyone use my phone this past month, which of course i didn't. yet he claims that i went over my minutes so someone must be using my phone without my knowledge and there is nothing he can do because for all he knows i could be lying. so now im extremly pissed and ask to speak to the guy above him, he puts me on hold for a minute, then the phone disconnects.... i have to redial and wait another 20 min to get back to someone, then i ask to speak to the guy before (because he gave me his full name in the begining) and they tell me he has left for the day. all in all, this company sucks major a*s and if you are in the market for a new cell phone company, choose someone else. i never got the billing error corrected so i refused to pay and the phone was shut off. end of that mess, although im sure it hurt my credit.

Service coverage in northern Baja failed repeatedly

I want out of my contract. I have never been jerked around so often by so many....and they kept saying we are here to serve you....it should work....It never worked as they has said it would. Now Verizon says that they NEVER say that a phone will work---they can't promise that.... I had been a member of Verizon for a couple of years, but I upgraded my program to have included the NOrth American choice calling plan to be able to call to and from Rosarito area in Baja. With northern CA numbers it doesn't work.....The members of the company and their tech support system are not bright and not helpful. Any advice?

Would like a class action suit in San Diego against Verizon

I have been having months of problems with the idiot Verizon supposed customer service people, each month having to call them to credit back hundreds of dollars in roaming bills. I have constantly told them how this iws affecting my health, have gone through neurosurgery during this time and they continue. If I can't find a class action available in San Diego, I will be forced (to my health's detriment) to travel to Santa Barbara to see the lawyers who have already won two class actions against Verizon.
