Verzion Wireless trying ripped me off Lakeland,Fl Florida
We own a garage door company, We were suppling cell phones to our sales people. When they leave our employment they would lose the number as it belongs to our company. I talked to verzion about putting the phones into the employees name, so if they left our company, they could keep the phone service and number. A supervisor said yes we can do that and she could do that for me. She set up prepaid accounts for 4 of the employees, others didn;t want to use Verzion.They kept the same number and same phone. I paid cash for the phones when purchased.We had no contract on any of these 4. She set it up and set up monthly charges from their debt cards. After about 2 months I get this bill from Verzion for $1400 disconnect fees for these 4 numbers.What? I had no Contract, Phones were approved to do this by Verzion. Service is still with Verzion. Still Verzion phones, All still current. Why a fee, Was told this is our Policy. (Really)
They approved all this. No fee was mentioned to me or it woukld not have been done.
I have a Law suit being filed and an Attorney.
The phone numbers are 863-xxx-xxxx. This is one of the firs numbers Verzion had in Florida. Had it for years.
