Innovative Apartments, Empire Apartments, Nader Jaber Lied about the service, did not provide service, refused a refund New York
I can definitely say that "Innovative Apartments" are scammers who take people's money without providing the service promised, and then they refuse any refund and become unreachable.
It all started when I saw an ad on Craigslist, which appeared to be an apartment for rent directly from the owner. Little did I know that there was no such apartment - it was a "bait", a fake ad to entice people to sign up for Innovative's services.
They have charged me a 225$ fee which they assured me was fully refundable (saying it was only for "credit check") . They wanted this in cash "to avoid paying state/city tax". (as Nader said). In return, they promised they would send listings of apartments that matched my search as soon as the following day. When they weren't sending the promised listings, I tried contacting them without luck. Finally I received one listing which was not covering what I was interested in. It was also obvious that they were copying and pasting information from other sources and that they did not know the owners of the apartments, as Nader Jaber had assured me.
When I asked for a refund they would not answer me, either phone or email. One email answer I finally got promised they would send one, but they never sent anything. They routinely lied and refused to answer any phone calls or emails. When I went to the office and asked to speak with a manager they refused: after first having said Nader Jaber was there, the customer service person returned and lied to me saying he wasn't there so I wouldn't see him.
At this point I decided to file a lawsuit against them, and I am gathering up testimonies and evidence from other people who were robbed of their money. If were also scammed or can help in any way with bringing these thieves to justice
