Victory Moving and Storage The Individual goes by the name DJ This company is a total scam they raise their rates one loaded and demand cash and hold your Furniture hostage Fort Lauderdale Florida
I hired a company National moving Group to move my 80 year old mother from Hudson Fl to Olympia Wa they gave me a written estimate and a date they would show for pick up.They hired Victory Moving and Storage to pick up the furniture on the date set for pick up the driver from Victory call to reschule pickup date to a Friday when they finally showed around 2 pm they were supposed to have a light weight on the truck because we were paying by the IB they did not have one and tryed to get me to change my plan to a flat rate telling me that i had way more weight than the estimate done by National Moving and Storage i rejected all his sales pitches and insisted on staying with the qoute provided by National which was based on 4093 IBS at .56 cents a IB which came to 3472.80 i of course was required to pay National a Binding fee of 1260.04 on my credit card however Victory wanted cash for thier part threw the drivers pursassion i agreed to estimate the light weight of the truck till they tranferred the furniture to the over the road truck This scam artist DJ (he driver)swore up and down i was going to have 9000 ibs and tried his hardest to get me to take a differnt option but i refused and he insisted on cash,i followed the truck to the Flying J truck stop to get a heavy weight the weight was 22,060 gross which means we now had to pay 50 percent of the linehaul in cash based on 9,400 ibs what crooks these guys are. i insisted on re-weigh for the light weight when they got the furnture tranferred DJ told me it would be no problem however he never got me a lightweight my rate doubled from $3472.80 to a whopping $6434.00 and of course he demaned cash,over the couse of following week we went around and around about getting me a ligit light weight never happened finally at delivery the company who actually hauled the freight understood our problem and got us a heavy and a light weight and guess what we only had 4,260 ibs exactly what Nationl original estimate was now i still had to pay cash to get my moms furniture.The company making the delivery had no choice in the matter they were of great help.Neither company National Moving and Storage or Victory will resrond or refund my 3000.00 over payment i will be takeing them to court but please dont allow this crook DJ from victory Moving and Storage on your Properety they have a list a mile long of this kind of behavior they are nothing but crooks with a licience to steel from once they gey your furniture on their truck do not trust these companys they are in it together. These companys are dishonest people and donot deserve a right to be in this business .
