We have been owners at The Grand Bliss & Grand luxxe at Vida Vacations for more than 5 years. At first we enjoyed our experience at their resorts. As time has passed their service 7 attention to us as their guests has hallen way off in our opinion.

We usually travel & invite 2 to 4 additional guests. In 2014 my sister & her husband traveled with us & purchased one of the Grand Luxxe programs. As we brought them, we should have recieved an extra weeks vacation as a reward, Well guess what, we are more than two years down the road & no extra vacation.

We were in Nuevo vallarta at the beginning on December 2016 with my sister & some other guests. At my sisters "owers update" the question of the our extra vacation week came up. My sister gave them her member # so that Vida could follow up on the extra week to see why it was not issued.

When I called in mid December about a charge on my credit card I also gave the infornation to the customer service representattive. He said he would open a file on the missing vacation week and some one would get back to me within 72 hours.

On January 6th 2017 Jamie  form Vida "customer service" called back. Longest 72 hours in history (my comment). I missed his call & returned his call on Monday Jan, 9th (today). Jamie said they had no record in 2014 of my sister ever making a request for the referal. He told me that Vida could not give us our week because there was no record of the original referral request and they have a different program now & don't do referrals any more. 

I have to wonder what does it actually cost them to give the referral week?

i told Jamie this was just another example of the nickle & dime customer service that Vida has fallen into.

Here's a couple of other example of poor NICKLE 7 dime poor customer service:

In past years we've always borrowed a golf bag at no charge so my wife or one of my friends could play golf. In December they charged $10 to rent a bag. Is this good customer service from a resort that positions itself as a 5 star resort?

At differnt times of the day they have a 2 for 1 happy hour. 2 years ago they stopped beer on the 2 for 1, In December they further stopped other drinks including my favorite - Chocolate Monkey. Is this good customer service from a resort that positions itself as a 5 star resort.

This past December they gave 3 of the women traveling with us a hard time about the number of golf clubs they had in the bag. Many beginning golfers play with a half set of clubs including the women in question. They would not let one of them play because they didn't have a full set of clubs These 3 women just wanted to have a good time and play 9 holes of golf. They certainly didn't deserve the treatment they got!! IS THIS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE FORM A RERESORT THAT POSITIONS ITSELF AS A 5 STAR RESORT?

I can put up with a little bit of poor service but I've had more than my fill of nickle & dime poor service from Vida!
