A few months ago, I thought testing my gut health was a good idea. The plan was to find any foods that may cause allergies, metabolic slowdowns and health issues. I supplied my blood and stool samples and I quickly received the results. Unfortunately, the food list was woefully incomplete with common foods like white potatoes missing. I was told there were technical issues and to stay tuned. The results are analyzed by a computer so if you have specific concerns or questions you are out of luck. The doctor will not be able the understand or interpret their results in medical terms. Once they have your money the attitude changes. Viome offers medical results but can not speak to you regarding the results. Viome offers no information about how the results are calculated.
