VIP Member store Fraudulent charges for internet purchase of eyeglasses. Internet
I ordered 2 pairs of Night-Vision HD glasses in December 2017 ,- buy one, get one for $29.99.
Received 2 pair but charged $59.99 on Visa Statement.
Today, 1/17/2018, received Fraud Alert from Chase Visa of a charge of $6.98 on my account. Charge was from Great Britain under "Men's and Boy's Clothing" under "ship.info" This apparently is a monthly membership fee, hidden in the order form for the glasses.
Charge declined, credit card automatically cancelled. Chase Visa said they had received MANY complaint reports from VIP customers in the past two months and the Customer Service rep. (Francesca)at Chase said she had seen the Internet Advertisements and had herself thought about bying these glasses !
Buyer beware - a clever scam - the ad. makes the glasses look so necessary and appealing for aging drivers.
