This company promises swift and expedited copies of Birth Certificates within 3-5 working days. They do not provide this service. If they cannot provide this service to all states, ie Alaska they should clearly indicate this in their claims. Their customer service is very poor, representatives have a poor grasp of the English language, and Supervisors will not return calls or e-mails.
If you are willing to wait on the phone for an hour, you can eventually be transferred to an English speaking "Supervisor", who will inform you that they can do nothing, but you can call Alaska to see if your Birth Certificate is being processed. Not my idea of what I was spending the $58 for expedited service on. Here I am almost a week later, frustrated, back to sending all the information to Alaska again, this time doing it on my own, with no confidence this company knows what they are doing.
They indicated to me that they are unable to communicate on my behalf with Alaska, then why do I need VitalChek Express? And why should I pay them an expedited fee? They have no refund system at all, no way to get your money back, very awkward site, and unprofessional attitude over sensitive documents. A reason to never pay without PayPal in the future. Skip this company, I have used other sites before with no problems, this one is not a good site.
