Vonage is Like a Cult. You Can Get In, But You Can't Get Out Holmdel New Jersey
This is the copy of the actual email I just sent to Vonage only moments ago. It describes what happened and speaks for itself...
I am canceling my Vonage service effectively immediately. I have tried to cancel many times, and customer service kept extending my service allegedly for "free" for 2 more months. This is a deceptive business practice to push people beyond the time frame that they can cancel without paying additional charges.
I'm not going to waste any more hours on the phone with customer service, screaming at them from the top of my lungs. The way you guys conduct business is a rip off.
I will be mailing my V-Portal back to whatever address I can find for you guys (with or without a confirmation number). If you want your box back (I have no reason to keep it) please email me the return address. I would appreciate if you would email me a confirmation number for my return, but that's up to you. I don't care anymore.
Vonage is like a cult. You can join but you can't leave. What a scam. I don't even see how you guys sleep at night.
