I rented this house from VRBO and I was looking for a vacation rental for Orlando. The ad states and I quote "Luxury Disney Villa". It was anything but!! I can't tell you how filthy and unsanitary this house is. It's truly a far cry from Child Safe My toddler couldn't even play on the floor due to the dirt and mold in the carpet. It's a health hazard and you should think twice before renting this house from Mary Xu!!!

The ad is incorrect! Here is what we thought we were getting!! It is the perfect home away from home for your family vacation in Orlando FL Considering that the house lacked hand soap, drinking glasses, and clean linens, not to mention functional pots and pans, this is a far cry from home away from home. There was even a broken bar stool that could easily cut someone. The carpet was disgusting, there were holes in the walls and the bathrooms were not cleaned. The sinks were disgusting, and the mats in the bathroom were even worse.

There is 42" Plasma HDTV with 200+ free digital channels

The cable didn't work for 98% of our stay. My husband had to reboot the cable to get it to work, and then the TV would only work for 10 minutes before it would turn off. The TV wasn't a huge part of the stay, but you couldn't even watch it. I would also like to mention that the furniture is not comfortable! You need to put a towel down on the couch before you sit on it due to all of the dirt and debris.

The villa is very child safe and friendly. It is equipped with all child safety features, with child safety alarms to all exit doors, doors to lanai and pool area and child safety fence and gate around the pool.

The alarm was never armed and NEVER functioning!! This house is far from child friendly. There is not one single outlet plug in the entire house. The back patio door wouldn't lock properly and was the main access for the patio with the pool. There was also not one child safety alarm for the pool.

My child couldn't even walk barefoot in the house due to unsanitary conditions of the house. This is the largest reason we choose this house was because it was supposed to be child safe, this is the most misleading and inaccurate statement of them all! How dare you say this house is child safe!

The sheets on the twin beds were not even washed. The game room is a joke!! They put a broken air hockey table in the unfinished garage.

High-speed internet (Cable Modem) with wireless router is available and free of access to internet anywhere in the villa. The internet never worked more than a few minutes at a time without having to reboot the system.

If you have any questions about my comments, please call me. I would be more than happy to send you the 37 photos of proof that I have about this Luxury Disney Villa. Every statement is 100% accurate. When we called the property management company, it took them 2 days to come out and clean the house. They showed no care or concern for this issue.

I am the owner of this 6-month old house (http://www.govillarentals.com/elmvilla), and I also help my friends to manage their houses in Disney Florida. All the houses I own and manage are newer pool villas (< 3yrs old), ranging from 3-bedroom to 7-bedroom. You can see all the villas at the web site: http://www.govillarentals.com We take good care of our houses by cleaning and maintaining before, during, and after guests stay. However, since it is rental home, sometime issues do occur, from the mis-use of the pool/spa to broken light bulbs. We do our best to fix them as soon as possible. While most guests are very understading and appreciative, some few think they can take advantage of us to get free rentals. It is hard to get 100% satisfactory rate, but we are very close.
