I'm sorry that this happened to you. A similiar thing happened to me once with Suntrust. It was mine and my husbands fault, but it is pure robbery to take 30 dollars for every transaction! You need to cancel your direct deposit immediately. The stupid thing is that they won't take off the overdraft feature, either! I know many people who would much rather just be embarrassed because of a return check or declined check card then have to pay 30 dollars a pop. You should cancel your direct deposit immediately so that the next check won't go in there too. Just put a little money in when you can and be strictly cash for awhile. I wish I could help more. I got all my money back from Suntrust (months later) by writing letters to the BBB and Suntrust coroporate.
