Walgreen Pharmacy NEED MEDICATION RIGHT AWAY DON'T GO.. AT ALL the business that doesnt give a d**n Modesto California
I have been going to Walgreens for years Now and I have never been through so much Mess. I deal with Chronic Pain 24/7 and I have been on Duragesic Patch 100ug/h since 1995. I normaly go to the one on McHenry but this time they only had 7 patches and I needed 10 so they would not fill it so they told me to go to another Walgreen Phy I asked them to fine another Walgreens for me in the area that had them.
The one store that had it told me it will be ready in an Hour that was a lie. I was in so much pain I could'nt drive back again. Next morning went back I was into withdraws/Pain and they Refuse to give it to me Telling me I can't take it that I should not be on it I could not believe what the Pharmacist was saying I Beg him to call to confrim with McHenry store he refused. That I have been on it for years I set their crying then he told me to take my Tripilkit and fine someone who will . I then went back to McHenry store sick about to pass out right their. They could not believe it they too call and to this day I don't know why I was refused. But the Funny thing is Mchenry store said they only had 7 patches were did they get the other 3 to complet my order.

It sounds to me like you waited until the last minute to try to get your prescription refilled and got stuck. There are strick laws regarding filling of prescriptions such as Duragesic and why they could not fill the prescription for only 7 patches. Here are some ideas to avoid this problem in the future. 1. Do not wait until the last minute to get your prescription refilled ( filled ) 2. Call the pharmacist a few days in advance so that they can order the medication for you -- a medication such as Duragesic has to be special ordered and takes 3 to 4 days to get from the wholesaler - this is not the pharmacies fault - it is a federal law problem. 3. Get to know your pharmacist---- most pharmacists and employees do not like to see someone in pain and we do not get pleasure out of it.
