Ok. Long story short. I have a 2008 Cadillac that the engine has blown 4 times and been fixed under the 100,000 warranty. Any way. The last thime the car was fixed the entire engine was replaced. I went to pick the car up, once I got to the dealership I was met by the service manager who then told me this was my last "hoorah" and that they would NEVER fix my car again regardless or remaining warranty or the re-warranty of replaced parts. So, I was upset and I left, and wouldn't you know 3 days later the car would not start. I have an electrical and aviation background and worked on cars my whole life. So the first thing I did was check battery and fuses I couldn't figure it out. So after several calls and a complaint to corporate the car was picked up by the dealers tow partner and the next day I was told I could pick my car up and I had a bill (the bill was only a couple hundred) but the dealer told me the the problem was the fuel pump fuse was missing. Not blown. Missing. I knew this was a total lie I checked that fuse and it was not blown or missing. when I got the car back I checked the fuse they claim they replaced and it had the score marks that I left checking the fuses due to the lack of the proper tool. So unless when putting the new fuse in they chewed it up first it wouldn't have looked like that. I do under stand this is just he said she said and I could've done it my self after getting the car back, but it was proof enough to me to know something was really wrong so I went back to the dealership and spoke to the same service manager who talked down to me and threatened me. We went back and forth a little bit, both of us getting heated. A mechanic even came out from the back and got involved and after about 30 min of arguing, I had to remove my self from the situation so I left and went out side. My wife stayed inside to talk to him and try to figure something out. The manager at that point sat on the counter and continued talking to my wife making her a little uncomfortable then he stood up and put both his hands on her arms that were crossed at her chest. She got scared due to her PTSD, and a past of Abuse and sexual abuse from the age of 3-17. So after he put his hands on her she took a few steps back trying to let him know that was not wanted contact and he continued to talk to her (telling her he'll eat the $14 fuse charge if she eats the rest of the bill). Then a few moments later he began touching and rubbing her hand/fingers commenting on her nail polish color and was less than 1ft away from her, placing her in a state of panic and she paid the bill because she felt it was the only way to get out of there and away from him. Calls to their corporate has led me nowhere (even though I have a cases filed with Corporate manager). And my wife is really in a state of something,

Customers picked up their 2008 Cadillac on June 13, 2013 to have their engine replaced. We successfully installed a new engine into their vehicle and they drove away.

On June 26, 2013 (2 weeks later) the customers had the car towed back into Wallace Cadillac because it was not running. We preformed our diagnostic on the car and found that a fuse was missing. Within the two-week period, the car was not at our dealership; the customers or someone they authorized must have removed the fuse. We put in a new fuse and the car ran fine. Seeing how the car would not run without this fuse, there is no way we could be responsible for the fuse not being in the correct space, prior to the customers driving away in their vehicle on June 13, 2013.

Even though Wallace Cadillac was not responsible for the fuse error, the customers felt that they should not be responsible for our bill or for the tow companies' bill either. Wallace Cadillac of Stuart provides good customer service; we by good will discounted our bill and paid half of the tow bill. We do not agree that Wallace Cadillac did wrong by these customers.

In addition, no one touched or intimidated the customer's wife in anyway. We are sorry that the customers are unhappy and want to question our integrity. Wallace Cadillac of Stuart has a good name in this town. We are trusted by the community, do honest business and that is why the Wallace Automotive Group has been in business for over 65 years.
