I went to get our family portraits done at walmart and the lady asked me if I would like a floppy disk with the pictures, I said no. But the next day i decided i wanted to get it So i went back up there and a different girl was there. Her name was Amber. I asked if I could get a floppy with my pictures on it and she said sorry were out of floppys and told me I could bring my own in. So i went home pissed off and called a different Walmart to see if they could do it. They said they couldnt it would have to be at the one I got my pictures taken at. I then told them what Amber told me about bringing my own disk. She informed me that was against policy that if they did that they would be held responsible if a computer became damaged. I said ok. So I decided to go back and bring my own disk. I gave her the disk she put it in the computer and kept telling me "sorry it takes a while" After waiting a couple minutes, another woman who had just taken another childs picture goes to the computer so she can show the family their childs pictures. So Amber jerks the disk out without even looking to see if the pictures were even on there and hands it to me. She said ill just add the ten dollars to your picture price. I said ok. So I went home put it in my computer and it couldnt find the file. I called the portrait studio to talk to Amber and told her it doesnt work what do i do "I dont know I really dont know anything about computers" I was thinking why are you allowed to operate it then? I said well what am i supposed to do? She told me someone would call me back. They did but didnt help either so i took the disk back and she took the ten dollars off my bill. Then she grabbed the floppy in which im thinking isnt the floppy mine I mean I bought it and I paid ten dollars for the pictures which I didnt get! This girl Amber shouldnt be working there. She is incompetent and isnt intelligent enough to operate the phone!

walmart ripped you off for a 30 cent disk! That is soo like them. I also read that some hair cut shop ripped you off, as did Carmax, Rent A Center, and some debt collection agency. People just go out of their way to rip you off don't they? Here is what you can do to stop these rip offs: Don't leave your daddy's house, let your boyfriend do the shopping, and dealing with the car dealers, and get your hair done at another store. I would be afraid to do groceries at the local grocer's if I were you, you might get ecoli tainted onions put in your shopping cart without your knowledge or permission. Another option for you is to grow up and get a life.

The only thing you lost from what I see is a disk. You stated they took the $10 off. You should have told her that was your disk. Problem solved. You can get disk at the dollar store cheap and you probly wasted more gas then it was worth.

If you read my story correctly it clearly states that i paid ten dollars for the pictures and had to provide my own floppy disk. Amber never looked at the disk and at first told me she could look to see the pictures but never did and then she told me a different story saying she wasnt able to look at it at all. It wasnt possible.

They asked you if you wanted it, you told them no, left the premises, slept on it and THEN decided you wanted it afterall? Was AMBER the one who initially asked if you wanted it? If not, then why would you just expect her to know how to do it? Was this a free service? Or did you have to pay extra for it?
