On May 15 2008 I purchased (2) over the counter water ionizer/filtration units (with 4 replacement cartridges) and (1) under the counter water ionizer/filtration unit (with 2 replacement cartridges) from Peter Goodgold at WaterWorks4u also known as MediaWorks4u. 1-888-973-7773. Mr. Goodgold explained that the (2) over the counter units were in stock and ready for immediate shipment, but the under the counter unit was not stateside yet.

An entire cargo container of them were already being shipped from Taiwan and were due through US customs by mid June. I pre-paid for everything, took immediate delivery of the over the counter ionizers and waited for the under the counter unit plus (2) replacement cartridges promised to me some time in late June, once it got through customs.

June came and went with no delivery of the under the counter unit. My wife got used to the above counter units. At first she thought it would take up too much counter space but that was no longer an issue. Since Mr. Goodgold's merchandize still had not cleared customs, on July 6th I sent him an email stating unequivocally that we were no longer interested in the under the counter unit and that this email was his complete authorization to credit back that $1,929 to my MasterCard and cancel the under the counter part of the order. Mr. Goodgold of course never responded to my email.

Over the next few weeks I called him, restated what was in the email and he said he would have to talk with his partner (his wife) and that he would get back to me. He never called back. By the third week in July, I called Peter and got Michelle, his office manager. I asked her where was my MasterCard credit, she knew nothing of it and said she would have to review it with Peter.

Again no call back. A few days later I again called, got Michelle and explained that there was no gray area here. I had cancelled my order legally in writing on July 6th, well before the unit was shipped or even was through customs. What was the holdup? She again said she would have to clear everything with Peter and promised a call back within 24 hours. Again no response.

After my July 6th email cancellation and at least four conversations with Peter and Michelle, guess what showed up on my doorstep on August 6th? That under the counter filtration unit plus two replacement cartridges valued at $1,929. I immediately rejected the unopened shipment and had UPS return the package to Mediaworks4u. The UPS Tracking Number was 1Z539EW10349755780. Peter Goodgold had the audacity to resend that package back to me about 2 weeks later and illegally charged my MasterCard for another $25 shipping charge!

I once again called Mr. Peter Goodgold and his response was that we had a "contract" and he simply fulfilled it. He never acknowledged my email or multiple conversations and tried to say my unit was "special ordered" from Taiwan. He never called my order a "special order" before. Remember when I placed my order on 5/15/08 he stated that the units were "almost" arriving at US customs and should be through some time in mid-June. Nobody orders one unit from Taiwan. His cargo container must of contained hundreds if not thousands of these units. They are even offered on his website. It also takes 4-6 weeks to cross the Pacific Ocean therefore my unit was NOT a special order.

I asked how he could disregard not only my email but also our conversations but he simply responded that we had a "contract" and he honored it. Why didn't he take that approach when we previously conversed on the phone? He never said anything indicating he was going to ship anyway. He just stalled for time or deferred to others in the office. With a last name like "Goodgold" it is obvious his god is money and he will lie, cheat or steal to get it.

Thank God for MasterCard. They investigated and credited me back the full $1,929 plus the illegally charged $25 for shipping. I will never do business with Peter GoodGOLD or MediaWorks4U again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMER.

Peter Goodgold is once again trying to distort the facts.

If this Rejuvenator water filter was truly a custom, one of a kind item, requiring 6-8 weeks of transit time from Taiwan, then why did I order it on May 15th and  he promised it by mid June?

Why did he tell me that the unit was already on its way from Taiwan and just about to enter customs?

Why was that same unit on his web site for sale as a standard catalog item to anyone that would pay for it?

Why did he not respond to my July 6th email when I specifically asked that he cancel the order since it did not arrive in June as promised?

Why did he send the unit TWICE charging me $25 each time even though I refused acceptance of the package from UPS?

Why did Master Card refund 100% of my money?

With a last name like "Goodgold" it is obvious his god is money and he will lie, cheat or steal to get it.

Thank God for MasterCard. They investigated and credited me back the full $1,929 plus the illegally charged $25 for shipping.

I will never do business with Peter GoodGOLD or MediaWorks4U again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMER.

Customer tried to avoid paying for custom ordered product

Customer was informed that the item in question is not an item we carry in stock and that it has to be ordered from our manufacturer over seas. Customer agreed and knew that it would take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. In the interim we paid for the product to be made to the customers specifications, when product did arrive customer tried to avoid receiving it for unknown reasons.

Customer reneged on his contractual agreements for custom ordered product and refused to accept delivery.

This is a obviously case of buyers remorse on a custom created product.
