 I have been a tenant of Quail Ridge Apartment going on five years now. The fisrt time I set foot into my apartment I complained of a strong mold smell and was reassured "there was no mold problem". My three childern and I contracted allergies and unexplained illness shortly after moving into Quail ridge. I noticed black and orange mold growing on the bathroom walls, on the bedroom walls and around the windows. I've made a complaint every year for the mold to be tesed for toxicity.

I am now pregnant and asked management to change the molding carpets so my newborn has a clean breathing environment. At first Management said they would send someone out to test the mold and change the carpets or I have the option to relocate. I choose to get the mold tested and carpets changed... Big mistake on my part.

 The next day (Christmas Eve) they sent maintence to cover up the mold and put a fan under the damp molding carpet. Five days later 12-29-14 they sent a company to access the mold problem and I was told there is a failed window letting moisture into my home causing humidity. Two hours later I recieved a Three Day Notice to clean up the mold or vacate. Two days after that (New Years Eve) I was a Notice to Vacate the property before January 30, 2015.

 I asked why I was being Evicted and the manager said, "they dont have a reason and they don't need a reason... just leave"!
