Complaint Review: WAYNE COUNTY MI.. CPS CORRUPTION - taylor Michigan

My case began on March 21st, 2011. An angry friend whom I had just forgiven for robbing my house back in 1999, called Wayne County Child Protective Services on me because I was dating her cousin, whom she set me up with, and when her best friend whom dated him before I found out about it, my ex-friend flipped the script on me and accused me of throwing her under the bus. 



She then started threatening me that she was going to call cps on me in which I had made a police report of just a few days before she actually called CPS. She accused me of abusing prescription pills, working and not claiming, and said that I never took my daughter with Cerebral Palsy to the doctor.When the worker Jo-Anne Freeman came to see me and my daughter at my home I clearly showed her contradicting messages that my-ex friend had texted me saying to get my fat butt up and get a job. I was told to email the texts to her and not to worry. She saw that my house is spotless, me a loving mother, and my beautiful baby girl's love for me, and told me I had nothing to worry about. CASE CLOSED!!



Well on June 16th I arrived home to find a business card from caseworker Heather Decormier-McFarland, and written on the back it read, "please contact me so that i can close your case immediatly. I was stunned. Never knew I had a case open. She explained that Ms.Freeman was fired and that she never logged any notes due to my "pending case" and asked me for my daughters information. I had nothing to hide so I gave her what she asked.



Around the end of June I get a knock at the door, this time it was another worker, pop in visit, and she said that they were wrapping my case up soon. She appeared to be interested as to how I mothered my baby girl. In which she knew and even said, " Awe she is so beautiful and I can tell how much she loves you " and  complemented me on how nice my home was. She leaves.



In the meantime, my daughters father, whom suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and a closed head injury, started dating his g/f sister! She was 23 and had just arrived from Florida. His g/f then came to me explaining how as soon as her sister got here, she was withdrawing from drugs and that my ex had given her $40 to go purchase heroin for her sister. She then explained as soon as she got back that her sister and him disappeared for the night.



Mind you, I had broken up with him in January 2011 for knocking me unconcious. We were together for four years. I took care of him and my daughter, paid all the bills, and wasnt even allowed to even go to the store w/o him. Oh and did I mention he is a sex addict as well. But never saw him use a hard drug in our entire relationship. Not even drink a sip of alcohal. 



So  when his g/f came to me and told me this I was furious! Afraid that I was going to lose him due to this alarming news I had just received. On July 15th, my daughters 2nd birthday, I went to his home to see if we were still going to the zoo with our child for her birthday. I knocked at the door. No answer. I went to his bedroom window, which was cracked, and yelled for him to wake up. I saw him and this 23 year old jump out of bed. He was mad because his g/f I guess slashed his tires and he thought I had something to do with it and started yelling at me to leave. He had NEVER been rude to me like that. Ever!



So he never did call or see our baby that day and for the next few weeks allowed the 23 year old to move in with him. During this time I learned the 23 year old had a son, that Florida Cps had taken from her. By law she was not allowed around my daughter. So of course I called Cps to inform them that I was not allowing my baby near them.



They  (CPs) also told me if I did that I would be held negligent in protecting my child. They called my ex and set up an appointment for them to go to his house. A week later, they went over there and my ex flipped the script on me, furious that I sent them there. What else could I have done to make him realize that they told me by law my child was not to go over there? He then made a bunch of false accusations on me and somehow got CPS on his side.



On August 3rd, 2011, I was leaving my home with my daughter to take her to physical therapy. As I reached my car I was bombarded by my ex and his father. My ex had heard my daughter obtained a bruise on her eyelid via rolling over and knicking my nightstand. His mother then appeared and grabbed my baby out of the carseat as I fought with my ex. She (his mom) then started running away with my child in her arms. I ran after her and would not let her take my daughter!! I was being kicked and punched but thank GOD was able to get my daughter back and ran into my home.



The police were called by the neighbers and by the time they arrived my ex and his family fled. All of my neighbors witnessed this assault and made reports. I did as well. Not but twenty minutes later, Heather Decormier Mc-Farland arrived at my home and started asking questions. She explained that she was in the middle of closing my case as my ex called her to tell her my daughter obtained a bruise on her eyelid. She then told me I had to either give my baby to him or give her to the state, explaining if I gave her to the state that my daughter would be placed with my mother.



I had never been thru anything like this, for I had never even been arrested before, so I foolishly handed my child to my mother so that my mother could take her to get her eye checked and a complete physical. I was told by Trenton P.D. that my worker, Heather, obtained a court order via fax, after she removed my child! No safety plan or reasonable efforts offered. Signature on order was rubber stamped! This is when I realized something was very wrong!!



The following day we all had to meet at CPS office and then court directly after. My child was with my mom for about two weeks until we went in front of a referee that asked CPS if there was anything wrong with my child being placed with her dad. Heather said "NO YOUR HONOR" and this is after I had just given her proof of his diagnosis and a child cruelty arrest and two domestic violence arrests!!!! I asked her after court how she could give my baby to him with him being so unstable. She explained since they were not charges only arrests that they didnt matter!!!!!!!



A few days later my ex came and picked her up from my mothers. The battle had just begun! I was three months pregnant at this time with an old high school sweetheart that I became involved with in March 2011. CPS were only allowing me to see my disabled daughter one hour a week for months! Supervised ever since she was removed!! I have passed every test that has been given to me. I have spent near $26,000.00 in lawyer fees yet STILL not a bit closer to getting her home!! She has been a ward of the state for months, as she is not being properly cared for by her father!!



Now instead of closing my case so my ex and I can move forward in FRIEND OF COURT they have decided to rule on custody in juvenile court!!?? Im assuming the longer my child is a ward of the state they get to collect part of her social security benefits. As I go on each day without my daughter, I have been reading a ton of information about how CPS in my area target handicapped children and low income families. Matter of fact google Maryanne Godbolo, another victim of this illegal kidnapping!! I have custody of my other two children, one only three months old, that they care less about. How is this possible?? I have since given them six more domestic violence arrests on my ex plus found out he has two felony drug charges that were dropped to misdimeaners after he co-operated in some drug ring scandel back in 94. He turned in evidence that got a dr locked up and in return the state whiped his record clean from criminal checks!!!!!



It has almost been a year and I still can only see my daughter supervised at their office and do not understand how this is humanly possible!! I have my 3 month old and 16 year old living with me as I type yet I am being kept from her. Why?? I discovered an article of a man of 5 kids that the exact same people in my case, referees and judges included, also stole his children and he had filed a class action lawsuit. Please tell me what I can do. Custody trial begins June 4th, 6th, and 7th. I NEED HELP IN EXPOSING THIS CORRUPT SYSTEM THAT ARE ILLEGALLY KIDNAPPING KIDS IN MY AREA!!!
