WeAreWeddings.Com RIPOFF NO WEBSITE YET EMAIL CO?/OUT OF BUSINESS SCAMMERS KEPT DEPOSIT!!!!! RIPOFF Glendale Heights Illinois
My fiance and I booked with WeAreWeddings.com back on February 7, 2006 a month or two after getting engaged. We booked our photography and dj package through them and also wanted our videography package as well. Marlene the owner told us that we could easily add on the videography package on up to a month before the wedding. We were all set, or so we thought.
We went online to try and log into WeAreWeddings.com's interactive website last week to try and select our wedding song venue as you have to do and there is no longer a website! We have made many calls to Marlene and there have been no return phone calls! If I would have waited until when it was due to log in, which was 30 days before the wedding, would I have had a month before my wedding to find all of these people?
It is exactly two months before my wedding on September 2, 2007 and I have no photographer, no DJ, and no videographer! What kind of people could do that to someone's once in a lifetime day? WeAreWeddings.com took my $500.00 deposit and ran, closed there website, and won't return phone calls. It is not about the deposit as much as the time. I have two months to find a photographer, dj, and videographer, that are good, to do a wedding on a holiday weekend that has probably been booked for a year like mine was with Marlene.
