To: Rahmat (Ray) Jafari of Web Buy Auto

101 Keyes St. San Jose, CA

This is an official letter of intent to reclaim possession of '96 Range Rover & response to your list of costs.

Prior to the purchase of the '96 Range Rover, you stated to Kittrick Redmond & I that the air conditioner will be fixed as part of the purchase price because Mr (x) wouldn't go ahead with the sale unless it was in working order. You agreed to fix it at no cost to us since you didn't want to lose the sale. Plus you saw Mr (x) had the cash on him.

The Range was kept on your premises as you & your friends attempted to fix it yourselves. In exchange, you provided an unsafe (headlights didn't work, shocks were gone, etc) & unregistered lemon of a car to use. Meanwhile you have our truck which we already gave you $7000 cash. Week after week, we kept calling for the progress of the truck. Week after week, we got a different excuse. It finally escalated to 6 weeks. During this time, my husband lost 2 days worth of wages because he spent his time waiting around at your dealership. You told him to come to the dealership twice & he ended up wasting his time. He traveled from San Francisco to San Jose.

Finally, you gave up trying & went to Land Rover to have them fix it. You did not get a verbal or written consent or permission to go to Land Rover from Mr (x) & I. You went on your own decision. You did not even mention if you got a quote from Land Rover. In fact, the truck was already with Land Rover before we were aware.

The cost was a lot more than you expected so when we came to pick up the truck, you reneged on your word. You basically put the pressure on us to pay for the air conditioner (which still doesn't work so this puts a doubt if you really took it to Land Rover). My husband kept bringing up the fact that you said that you were going to fix the air conditioner at no cost. In fact, you said, for free. You kept arguing with him and talking down to him. I was very upset at the language you were using & how you were treating my husband, your customer. I cannot believe how untrustworthy you are & how many others have you done this to.

We gave you the first payment when we picked up the truck. You couldn't get change for it that you had to ask one of your employers to lend you money. (We will need his details to send him a subpoena) You refused to give us a receipt when we refused to agree with you on paying for the air conditioner. In fact, you threatened us saying, Then no title, no title.' This led us to believe that no matter what, you will still hold the title.

You gave us the key to the truck anyway after shouting at us while my husband was trying so hard to be calm for me.

You had someone repossess the truck from our home during the day. There was no letter of intention from you, no warning whatsoever. No letter on the premises after the truck was taken. A lot of our personal things were still in the truck that we needed.

Only after calling the police, we found out that it was you. Mr. (x) called you & you verbally abused him right away. You even threatened him that you were going to auction the truck in 2 days. We can only take so much mistreatment & horrible customer service.

The only thing we agree to pay & get the title is the balance owing of 4 installments. The rest of the cost was your own doing. None of this would have happened if you were a decent & honest car salesman.

We are in the process of getting a lawyer.

Sincerely,

Disgusted & Stressed out

Emer
