I had a loan with Wells Fargo Financial in Lake Charles, Louisiana. My wife, who wasn't my wife at the time, was the primary borrower and I was the co-borrower. After finishing college, she ran into hard times so she filed bankruptcy but reaffirmed the Wells Fargo loan. The debt was paid off, in fact, I paid the debt off for her when I realized how far behind she was and I never received a notice from Wells Fargo that she was behind. I paid the debt off completely.

I own my own business where I am a licensed private investigator. I tried to go through Quickbooks to start accepting credit card payments but they ran a personal credit bureau report and stated that I filed for bankruptcy based on what Wells Fargo has in my report. It states on my credit report, in bankruptcy, reaffiramtion of debt, $0 charged off, then has some delinquency dates but leaves the impression that I filed for bankruptcy.

I intend to file a federal law and have several attorney's that stated that they would be interested because case law states that a credit report must be accurate. They also list my name wrong. They list me with a co-borrower by a name I never heard of before. The case law that my attorney pulled states that if a creditor reports or leaves someone with the slight indication that they filed for bankruptcy and didn't then the creditor is liable for damages.

Nothing more to do but wait. I filed disputes with Wells Fargo and all three credit bureau's and sent them a copy of the lawsuit that we intend to file shortly if its not resolved. The loan was only for $3500 but after they pay their attorneys, its going to cost them alot more.

I had a similar ordeal with a different crooked firm called Dovenmuehle Mortgage, located in Lake Zurich, Illinois. They were reporting three false entries on my credit report with mortgage companies I had never done business with. Keep fighting these scumbags, for the information that they report must be accurate. Keep disputing it as innacurate, for it must be updated or corrected. Since they have been reporting it wrong all this time, request that it be deleted. Keep swinging, scratching, and calling them names, just like ragin cajun madman. I have a lot of family around Estherwood, Crowley, and Midland, ever hear of those places?
