Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In July of last year I decided to leave a deadend job, utilize my GI Bill and return to school and to my disappointment it has become a very stressful enviroment.

I am a member of the Colorado National Guard from where I recieve tuition assistance, for satisfactory drill attendance. But when I have to spend five days on mission, which takes me away from school for two-days a month I lose 25 points of class-time per day. I understand that the rules must be followed but to my knowledge, military personnal can not be penalized for duty service.

Even though I am not in the same situations as my fellow students that have to deal with child-care issues, monitary problems wth the school, I sympathize with them. I have seen too many of my friends attending this school treated as if they are nothing but an extra body in a seat and financial aide number. Many of our students have applied for personal loans to help them through monthly hardships and have been avoided, dismissed, threatened with dismissal but never given a straight answer.

The rules have been changed in the schools favor and not the students. As quoted in the campus catalog ;page number 37,paragraph number one

" All changes are implemented in ways tat any new policies or curricular requirments will work little or no hardship on a student who has entered under an earlier set of requirements."

As to date the changes have been so stressfull that many of the students emotionally break. And many of them drop-out and decide to attend other schools in Colorado Springs. How many schools make it mandatory for it's student to make up a federal holiday on the day they are scheduled to be out of class? And the lastest "rumor" is that we will have to make up every holiday except Christmas in order to satisfy some sick form of punishment.

Breaks in class have been changed countless times, certification classes have been removed from the curriculum and many students have complained, but to no result.

When Intellitec was a part of the group of Intellitec Colleges in Colorado I am sure that these things where not happening. Where is the support and leadership that Intellitec so desperatly need?

For an institution that harps on being professional, your outer appearance, and loyality and dedication to our education they are setting a very sad example. Personnally, I have notified my military command about the actions that the school has made and how it affected me and my fellow students. And I am sure that something will be done very soon.
