Westin - Starwood Resorts St. Regents Westin and Starwood Resorts Scam, Fraud, Cheats, and Liars -Stole $400 from me. Rancho Mirage, California
This is a Scam. The company is fraudulent and the business practices are suspect. From other complaints, it looks like I am not the only one being scammed out of my hard earned money.
I was promised a free room, but all I got was $100 charge in addition to the $300 a Westin Employee stole from me. Please refund my money asap.
Resolution Sought: When I went to use the free room they gave me they charged me $100.00. So now I am Out a total of $400 dollars due to this Westin / Starwood Scam. I suspect fraud, and demand $400 for the items Westin stole from me and the unauthorized charge.

Hey sh*thead, The Westin wants to know when you are going to pick up your shopping cart. Beware of the Cat City cops, they know about all your arrest warrants.

Make sure that you talk to your boss at the Westin before you post any more messages on this thread because each time you Post a rebuttal it optimizes search engines to rank This negative review of Westin even higher. Most people will realize that you are a fake poster. I was hoping to close this thread out quickly since they are promising to refund .. But here's to search engine optimizing this post even further... all posts welcome even fake ones.

I was there sitting in the lobby when this guy came into the hotel. Let's get a few facts straight. He showed up pushing a shopping cart full of empty beer cans with 3 dogs in tow. He smelled of cheap gin and looking like a cross between Otis Campbell and Grizzly Adams. He staggered up to the desk clerk and claimed he had a hotel voucher issued by the the Desert Hot Springs Homeless Services Agency for a free night. The clerk, quite a cute little Mexican gay guy I might add, politely told him that the voucher was only valid at the Palm Springs Motel 6. Our poster then got all angry and started yelling at poor little Pedro about how the hotel was racist against homeless people. while this was going on one of his dogs scrunched up and laid down a giant dump the size of the San Jacinto Mountains right there in the lobby. By this time security showed up and escorted him and his dogs off the property, leaving his shopping cart behind. I suspect he is demanding $400 for his shopping cart. I happened to take a picture of it before they tossed it in the dumpster.

After filing the ripoff report I received an email from westin saying that I would receive a refund. Some of the charges may have been in error or a misunderstanding. I am trusting that this gets resolved soon.

How did they "scam" you? You just said they stole $100 on top of the $300 they already stole from you. How did a trailer park creature like you end up at a Westin in the first place?
