Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been with westlake now 4years I paid off a car and went to buy a another only to find out that they never reported anything to credit agency! now im on second vehicle and they still continue to refuse to report to credit agency.

Im furious and have sent my DL SSN BIRTH CERT credit report over 15 times over last 6 months! still the retards say we never recieved it  or can you send it again and the supervisors are just as bad "we choose not to report' really?

I said you are a ripoff and a fraud because you advertise helping people fix thier credit is a lie "a theft of service " and should be criminaly charged for theft, misrepresention ,voilation of financal services , BREACH OF CONTRACT just to start! I asked for a full refund and damages and they said "we cant do that" lol

There services did nothing for my credit they kept me in the same bracket as I was paying 368 a month, that is a 1200 dollar a year loss just with them ! I should cut my losses and take it to some homeboys and get my down payment back and let the car end up in 200 different pieces on its way to S America. :p

Any Good Lawyers out there could have a field day with this case $$$$$$$ any takers? [email protected]

You have already done a great job by making all of your payments on time. I know it is frustrating to not have the payments report to the CRA's but you can bet your bottom dollar that if you were to be late, even one time, the late payments would show up on your credit report. They may even deliberatly misreport your payments which is a worse solution than what you have right now. (It happens.)

Here is a better solution that benefits you:  refinance your current vehicle with another lender - a prime lender. Go to a credit union and show the loan officer (either online or in person) that you have been reliable with your last vehicle payments and your current vehicle payments. You can show that you have paid ontime with your own documentation (bank statements or cancelled checks).   This way you can refi away from the subprime lender. The CU will report to the CRA's and you won't ever have to deal with a subprime lender again as long as you maintain your current payments. The interest rate will be lower too so that is a direct benefit to you.

Don't try to get back at your current lender by turning the vehicle back to the dealership. It hurts you and not the current lender because they will sell it for pennies on the dollar and you will be responsible for the rest of the loan + repo fees (yes, even if you bring it back they charge you repo fees) + default interest + any other fee they can think of to charge you. It isn't worth it for the 15 minutes of satisfaction.

One more thing:  I bet the loan agreement has no written provision in it to mandate the creditor to report your payments. I bet it says "may report" instead of "shall report" to the CRA's.  Big difference in whether they have to report the payments or not. Most of the time those type of subprime contracts are 100% for the creditor (vendor) and not the consumer. You can sue, but I don't see where it would benefit you in any way.  Kick the lender where it hurts by paying off the loan through a refinance. This way they can't continue to earn interest on your loan.

...is to fund your loan.  They did do that, didn't they and as per your report, you did your part by paying the loan back on time.  There are three major credit bureaus, Equifax, Trans Union and Experian.  You can submit your own information to them, if you wish.  Somewhere along the way, I thought I read where there is some credit bureau which allows customers of subprime lenders to also submit their information.  You may wish to do that.  The bottom line to all this is the lender does very little, if anything to "help" your credit rating.  It is you the customer who does that by paying on time, which you said you did.  Any and every subprime borrower should learn from you!
