I understand that the Florida attny general lists over 46 complaints against this company. Their practice is to delay and then ignore. They still don't ever answer their phone. Bottom line, I was ripped off for $309 USD. Plus, the wasted time.

I placed on online order @ www.windowtreatmentsandblinds.com with the merchant, Window Treatments and Blinds on Nov 2004 (based in Jacksonville, Fl) for 2 sets of Roma Flat shades.. My credit card was charged for the full price, #309.98, of the order on 07 Nov 2004. Expected 4-6 week delivery. Today is 08 April 2005, I have not received the shades and I am unable to reach the merchant.
In Jan 05, I attempted to contact the merchant at their 800 phone number. After numerous attempts, I spoke with a man on 08 Jan 2005. He informed me that my shades were on backorder and expected 1st week of Feb; therefore, I should expect delivery to me mid Feb 05. Just as a check, I contacted merchant on 01 Feb 2005. I was informed the blinds were being fabricated and would ship the following week (approximately 07 Feb 2005).
I did and have not received the blinds so I attempted to contact merchant. Called weekly and left messages beginning 22 Feb 05. I have not received any return calls or information from the merchant. And now 08 April 2005, I have paid for the shades, I have not received the shades, and I am unable to reach the merchant.
On 08 April 05, I have notified my credit card company. I have filed a dispute for the charge and the credit card company is beginning an investigation.
I would like them to be put out of business. I understand from my after the fact research, that they taken advantage of various other people. I am a big fan of online commerce and merchants like this can ruin the trust and security of online purchasing in the future. Also, I want my credit card refunded. With the help of my credit card company, I am hopeful that it will be in the next few days.
The company owners are BOB and NADINE GLOMBOSKI and their address is 1816 West Cobblestone Lane, St. Augustine, Florida, 32092. They employ their son and his wife, ROBERT and ALISON GLOMBOSKI.

Consumer received a refund

This customer got a full refund from her credit card company on May 12, 2005. That is only part of the problem. This consumer is reporting that My son and his wife are employees. Nothing could be furthur from the truth. Alison Glomboski has never worked for us in any form. Robert Jr. has not worked in the business since 2000. Both have very good jobs by large corporations. It is sad that Ripoff Report did not investigate any of the aligations against the company and the names that were reported. If they took the time to do so I would not have to be writing this letter. I think there is some liability by ripoffreport.com for reporting names that are not connected with our company. It is your fault that the names of good and honest people are broadcast over the internet as being parties to something they are not. I am suggesting to my son to contact an attorney for legal action.
