I purchased two razor cell phones and service from cingular. I was told I needed to pay a deposit. I was informed it would be 150.00. I asked how much I need to debit to get service. I was told 150.00 and a processing fee of 9.99. I gave my debit card number. I then checked my band and they had a hold on my account for 300.00. I callled customer service and they told me it was doubled because I had two lines. I explained that I specifically asked what would be debited and was told 150.00. I told them I wanted to cancel order. They gave me the runaround about how long it will take the banks to credit my account. They then offered me 100.00 gift card. I asked why they didn't just charge me the 150.00. They said they couldn;t. I said I wanted to cancel order. They then offered me 200.00 gift cards from AE. I agreed to buy the phones and service. I have not received the cards. After one month I called customere service and was told instructions were emailed to me. I never recieved. They then told me my email address would not accetp email. i provide alternate email. They promised to escalate the process. Still have not received email. I have emailed customer service and received emails so my email address is obviously good. They took one month to actually debit my account for the 300.00, so they apparantly could of only debited for the 150.00. I am sick of this.
