Chris Weissman is the WORST locksmith I have ever had to deal with, and I regret calling him. He never notified me of any estimate and went ahead and did whatever without my consent. I am a home manager and he came and said whatever he wanted to my tenant and did what he felt like.

I didn't authorized any work order, nor was I aware of what was going on. I last talked to him in September 2009. We talked about changing the locks but I asked for an estimate first. He called me on Feb. 2010 and told me over the phone how much I owed him, and asked me when I would pay it. This came out of the blue and I was not expecting it. I hadn't spoken to him in the past few months! The bill was over $1,100... he told me to pay or he was going to call the police on me, and I was going to be arrested... I have never heard this before in my life!

He told me he needed to pay so I could support his business payment, house payment, truck payment, his pet expenses, and his girlfriends ring down payment... It sounded to me like he needed cash quick and this was the scheme he cooked up. I have called him for his services a few time and for different houses. He might have the impression that he can scam a large amount of cash through me.

All the other times I called him he gave me an estimate and notified me by phone when he was on the property. All in all I never expected this from him. I STILL have not gotten an bill from him... he just wants my credit card or bank info over the phone. He has been calling me every few min. on my cellphone and I have phone records to prove it. He is now harassing me and won't leave me alone. I feel very threatened, especially since this is the first DAY I have been told my bill!

James Colver of "Allied complete home and building repair" has stolen our merchandise. He "stopped payment"on his check after he  installed our merchandise on his jobsite.James never came back to return the materials so we could re-sell it
We called James to simply get our hardware back but he "hangs up"
He will not return our merchandise . James will be very suprised when
he learns what he did was "illegal" and is considering "stealing"
any comments posted by him is just a smoke screen to mislead the public from his criminal activity.
note from the company:

We were informed by the Sherriff to never take these type of matters into our own hands
The Sheriff was notified of James and the theft he committed at our retail store.

Wise Locksmith and its owners are filing criminal charges.
I will post the results of James Colvers conviction after we learn more.

As a contractor it is highly questionable to perform services without the customers written approval, preferably in a formal contract.  Contracts are an irreplaceable tool that let's the contractor and client know exactly what is going to happen and how much it will cost.  In your rebuttal you admitted that you did not have a  contract so why are you acting so surprised that things went wrong.  It is time for you to learn from your mistakes.  With that said,  since when does it take 3 entire hours to install a couple Baldwin lock sets???  I can see why you quickly offered a $300 discount after she objected.  I wasn't surprised to see this complaint after the experience I had with you.  It appears your favorite thing to do is threaten to call the police when things don't go your way.  Just remember that reputation is everything in this economy, and when you mistreat or deceive your clients then word will quickly get out.

We are the best Locksmith on the north end!
I am the owner of Wise Locksmith and would like to say that this customer is being unfair. We heard her concerns and immediately gave her a $300.00 discount and she still posted this complaint. She also filed with the BBB the exact complaint "word for word" and we were "cleared".The problem began when we took a large job for a customer who doesnt live at the property. She trusted us and gave us her credit card to pay for a previous lock repair and also her request to order 2 new locks. Even with a card number we never run any charges until we recieve permission. Her front door lock was expensive and she wanted the exact same. She also had a second door that needed a lock  to match. The locks were special orderd and arrived 6 weeks later. We did not call her when they arrived, we just called the tenant living on the property. When the job was completed, we called her to tell her that we are now finished and she exploded when we told her the bill. She refused to pay for 2 Baldwin mortise locks, installed after 3 hours of labor and a previous balance she owed for the tenant being locked out..She stated she wasnt expecting the cost  of labor to install these new locks so we offered to remove the labor just to avoid conflict. She agreed  to keep the locks with a $300.00 discount even after we offered to take them back. The customer made a complaint on this site before the credit card was even charged. This customer did get a company reciept for the work done on her property.
Due to this situation, Wise Locksmith has changed its billing policy and will not begin the work requested until we recieve a signed estimate from the owner with a deposit for jobs over $100.00
