Go to stop wizard of claws (dot) com to see a list of different ways to file complaints against Wizard of Claws. Since the puppy was sick within 14 days of the sale, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE for your vet bills. You will probably have to take them to small claims court to get it, but don't let them get away with it. Also file complaints with all the organizations listed. These people need to be stopped.

If your vet said that the puppy was sick when it was purchased and is willing to put that in writing, contact the District Attorney's office in the county where the seller is located and tell them you want to file a complaint. Tell them you do NOT want the dog returned to the seller because you are afraid of what might happen to it then. You could also go to small claims court and sue for your vet bills. I have never ever heard of anyone paying that kind of money for a mixed breed dog and suggest the next time you are looking for a canine companion you contact the shelters and rescue groups. You could have adopted a purebred (without papers, of course, and spayed/neutered) for much less.
