Contacted AMEX customer service 1/26/09. AMEX told me both planplus & savings2go are set up thru them as INSURANCE merchants. They immediately charged back both charges from each company. I made AMEX aware that these will more than likely be recurring monthly charges as others have stated on this site. I then contacted AMEX fraud protection and made them aware of the situation. They said any further charges from these companies to my account will be denied. To say the least, I am very happy with AMEX. These made-for-dateline-nbc scamming companies will not get a F*ing penny from me. I then contacted both PLANPLUS and SAVINGS2GO and gave each person I spoke with a piece of my mind. At the least, I tied up their phone lines for a good couple hours (i made mutliple calls, slow work day ;)). My next trip to Dallas, I may stop by Plano (both companies located there) and have some fun. Next step for me.......reporting both companies (& wonderhanger.com) to the better business bureau and the AG office. Good luck to everyone else getting screwed by some guy or gal drinking martinis in the caribbean on OUR dime.......
