Woodland Village Apartment I would not recommend Woodland Village to anyone Columbia South Carolina
I have lived here for almost eight years. Many of the "long timers" have been promised renovation of our apartments since they are over 30 years old. Instead, we have virtually no maintenance done. Only the dire emergencies are addressed.
Within the last month Woodland Village has no landscaper and no pest control. The grounds are over grown and shameful. It is impossible to get in a lot of back doors due to the weeds and underbrush. I am embarrassed to have anyone visit.
My daughter used her allowance to purchase a weedeater to enable us in getting in the apartment. Another resident was seen yesterday clipping hedges that grow out pass the sidewalks at eye level. The a/c units are about 30 years old and not only are not-efficient but are filthy. You can't help but see the grteen gunk growing in the inside unit when you change your filters.
What is not done: no pest control, no maintenance, no landscaping, the pool is not maintained properly, at times no trash control, old appliances, to include refigerators are junked and left in the back of apartments. In fairness, the pro's are this is a quiet complex and the apartments are large.
