Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I purchased a membership at 24hr Workout Express on 9/30/10 which was to begin in 11/15/10 with the Grand opening but was not really ready even then.

So I happen to catch Steve Riffle there one day and he told me to talk with Jay and I did and I started to use thegym.

Then on or about01/04/11 I went to find a note on the door and Jay's wife Crying about what was happening and she told me that they would make things right and gave me Jay's cell#,butwhen Icalled the # it was not working. And nobody is able to be reached.

So I called the parent company(National Fitness) and they said that they knew nothing about the closing of the Gym. And they could not help me.

Steve Riffle ANYTIME WOMEN'S FITNESS, 24 HOUR WORKOUT EXPRESS and STEVE RIFFLE'S various other Rip-off businesses were investigated and found GUILTY by the Attorney General's Office for the State of Ohio.

Jay had nothing to do with the problem.  He was duped by Stev Riffle.

Whoever wrote the above rebuttal or review was Steve Riffle or a family member attempting to cover for him.

First off, I do not feel that the person filing the complaint truly understood the situation. Being there the entire day, rather than just a few minutes, I feel that I can shed some light onto what happened. The co-owner of 24 hour workout express, Steve Riffle, had his name on the lease. The other co-owner, Jay Justice, had his name nowhere on the lease. Mr. Justice was contacted by the landlord early in the morning. He was informed that the gym was being locked up for failure to pay rent, which was Mr. Riffle's part of the agreement. So the 30 day notice that most gyms are alloted to inform their clientel of any changes and to relocate was waived. There was a minor billing dispute between Mr. Justice and Verizon Wireless, which has since been resolved, so members may feel free to contact him. Mr. Justice and a new partner are currently in the process of opening a new gym for the previous members of 24 Hour Workout Express. This new business is not affiliated with Mr. Riffle in any way. The billing company was contacted and memberships were frozen the day of the incident, so any billing disputes should be addressed with the billing company itself. Technically the gym was not bought out or anything of the likes, which should explain why the parent company knew nothing out of the ordinary. Contact information for both Mr. Justice and his new partner was posted on the front window, but, due to secret negotiations, the building is soon to be rented by Aspen fitness, whose owner, Mr. Given Ward, tore down the contact information flier. Mr. Justice and his new partner are sincerely sorry for any problems in contacting them and would like to apologize for the inconvenience these events have caused for the current members of 24 Hour Workout Express. They kindly ask for your patience as they have been working tirelessly to open a new, and hopefully much better club, under new management, for your fitness needs.
