January 20, 2004 I received a call from a Jason Halbrook stating he had a buyer in his office wanting to buy my timeshare even though I had no contract with Worldwide. He was very insistent that he had a buyer. He guaranteed he was selling it right then. I would receive a cashier check for $11,500 in the mail within 7-10 days. I asked several times if they were really there and he said yes.

I used my credit card for a fee of $799 Said when the verifier from their office called not to tell them what he promised cause it was illegal as the timeshare was not released to them yet, and as soon as I talked with the verifier it would be released and then he would send me out the paperwork the next day.

I called several times the next week at first he talked to me saying the check would be in the mail. Then when I called He was out to lunch, not working, on the other line , etc., etc., etc. On January 28th I e-mailed Worldwide Timeshare requesting cancellation of my agreement, on that same evening I spoke with Eric Green, manager I informed him of the misinformation given by Jason, he said he would see that I recieved my money back. Told to call back the next day to finalize the cancelation, upon calling, I was informed that I had entered into a verbal agreement and the time frame for cancellation had expired and now Customer Servicer will not return my calls. I really wish I had found Ripoffreport.com before I gave Worldwide my credit card information.
