I stayed at a Fairfield hotel in Orlando 2 years ago and was contacted by Fairfield Wyndham about vacation ownership and was offered a 3day/2 nite vacation which i accepted to one of their resorts. I tried to book Daytona to no avail because I was in Florida traveling back to Pa -they wanted to send me to Nashville -but at the time of my travel they had no availability there either. I went to Daytona on my own and attended a meeting about vacation ownership voluntarily. I purchased a Discovery package at that time which gave me 2 years to use 189,000 points great!

Since that purchase my position as a traveling healthcare professional has taken me to Florida then to California for another 9 months after which I returned home to Pa to care for my terminally ill sister taking a leave of absence from work. Unfortunately my sister passed away in June.

I received a letter from Wyndham telling me my points are about to expire and have been trying DAILY to book a vacation anywhere on the East coast I have until August 25th to use my points or I lose them along with the $1700 i paid for them. There is no availability the only thing they could offer me was 3 days in Atlantic city- I have a 16 month old not an option. The only option they could give me was to exercise my option to purchase their vacation ownership so I don't lose my equity. WOW I haven't been able to use the original 3 day stay or the Discovery package I purchased and they want me to buy into the company. I have checked and if I was a new customer inquiring there is availability anywhere I want to go-

I understand I had 2 years to use the program but life happens and I am still under the 2 year mark and trying to book 2 months out - there is nothing. I am unduly stressed about the whole experience and just sick that I gave these people my hard earned money for nothing- If they would extend me 1 week there is availability but they won't do that . Try someone else imo
