4/16, just cashed a check for $100.00 (full tool deposit). I win! I kind of wished they would have made me taken them to court because I would have got more money out of them but, this works, fairly hassle free. Just some frustrating dealings with wyotech employees. It just proves if you're not lazy and are persistent you will beat them when they're in the wrong. You just can't be LAZY and allow yourself to get punked by this "school".

4/12 spoke with Wendy at wyotech finally. I told her at this point this could be handled two ways; they could either refund the tool deposit in full, or I would be filing a suit in Yolo county small claims court. She said she would call me back in ten minutes, which she did. I was told that they would refund my full tool deposit ($100.00), that it would take up to a week because it has to come from corporate. Wendy said that she would call me when it is done and I could come down and pick it up as to my request. So, if I don't here from them by the 19 of April I will begin the process of filing the forms for a suit in small claims court in yolo county.
For any of you in the same situation with this "school" it only cost $30.00 to file in yolo small claims if under $1500.00, and the defendant may not use attorneys! You win you get your money back and the cost to file. Don't let this company take advantage of the fact that it is "only" a hundred dollars or less. They make enough off us students as it is. At some point principles come into play and blowing it off allows them to continue their current business practices. I will update when I either have cashed a check for $100.00 or file suit and serve them.
