Publisher promises editing service, but barely skims surface of mss. Publisher gives litte help; relies on author to 'hold the hand' so to speak and 'guide' the editor, not the reverse.
Staff not coordinated. Errors, corrections, concerns are not effectively followed-through on. Parade of people with varying levels of competence and incompetence ostensibly work on the mss. Lnguage barrier especially impcts so-called editors comprehension of time, place, and language use.
Exhausts uthor trying to unravel errors, multiple names of staff, and whatever confusion that seems to exist at the headquarters.
